Levels

Each student has their own level which is increased with experience. You gain experience through various tasks and when it reaches a certain amount, they will advance to the next level. Level 100 is the current maximum level in Animal Boyfriend.

Level Up Events
2nd Student after reaching level 50
3rd Student when the total level between your 1st and 2nd Students is equal to 75 or higher.
4th Student when the total levels of your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Students is equal to 200 or higher.
5th Student when the total levels of your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Students is equal to 250 or higher.

6th Student when the total levels of your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Students is equal to 300 or higher.
7th Student when the total levels of your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Students is equal to 350 or higher.
8th Student when the total levels of your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Students is equal to 400 or higher.

Level Up Events

When reaching Levels being multiples of 5 (5,10,15 etc) and your Student’s Affection is maximized, you can enjoy a special conversation event. After seeing 10 events, you will get the Confession Event. If you accept the confession, your relationship status will be changed to Lovers. If you don’t accept, it will become Close Friends. Whichever you choose, the contents of conversations and level up events will change.

If a level up event occurs before you’re able to see the confession event, it will be overwritten and the event will disappear.

If you have multiple Students, only one can be your lover. If one of them already is your lover and you accept another Student’s confession, the previous lover will automatically become a Close Friend. After 10 types of level up events with a student who is a Close Friend, he will confess to you again so you can change back and forth.

Graduation

AlumCenter — Alumni center socialization

When your student reaches level 100, you can proceed with a Graduation Event. If you make your student graduate, you will be able to choose Leopard and Squirrel as a Species. You will also get limited items, Stylish Default Clothes type2 and Species specific Graduation item.

After graduation, Students become Alumni and can socialize with your Students as Alumni. Alumni can’t use normal Socialization, change outfits, etc. You get 1 exp for every Alumni socialization. Each Alumni from the list can socialize 10 times per day. Every socialization increases intimacy with your Student. You can check Intimacy between the Student and Alumni in His Room. The contents of socializations will change with Intimacy.

You can’t make your Student graduate if he is your lover. To enable graduation, you must change your relationship to anything else than lover.

Alumni will wear clothes and accessories they had on during graduation. After graduation, all those items will be returned to the closet and will not disappear. If his ears and tail are showing, they will also be visible after graduation.

Note: Once you have more than 3 alumni, one of the existing ones must be replaced to have a 4th or more.

Intimacy Level: Acquaintance -> Senior Junior -> Friend -> Close Friend
